Hi, I’m Lasindu — the creator of PistonUI.
My journey in web design started back in 2011, when I began designing templates for Blogger. I created many blogger theme galleries and learned how to turn creative ideas into functional designs.
Later, I stepped into the template selling business and joined Envato, which became a real turning point in my career. I started as a Blogger template seller, and soon after, I moved into WordPress — the best decision I’ve ever made.
Over the years, I’ve designed and developed many WordPress themes and add-on plugins, focusing mostly on magazine-style designs because that’s my true passion.
Today, I work as a UI Engineer at one of Sri Lanka’s leading IT companies, still deeply connected with WordPress and modern web design.
PistonUI is one of my latest projects a custom Elementor add-on plugin built to help creators design faster and better. It’s more than a project; it’s a step toward giving back to the community that shaped my career.
